Such a variety of pierogi as is in the Lublin region probably is not found anywhere else. And the pierogi capital of the region is Bychawa where every year at the turn of May and June the World Championships in Eating Pierogi are held. Eater festival. The winner is the one who in the shortest time eats 20 dumplings. But apart from delicacies, there is also something for the eye and soul. There is a reservoir, ruins of a palace from the 16th century, an old cemetery. And the surrounding area is attractive - e.g. a stronghold in Zdrapy or a palace in Osmolice. There are plenty of mansions and manor houses here. And with parks - French, English and our familiar with linden, oak alleys. Some are deteriorating, others are already "rising". I love such avenues, the row of trees and finally the surprise. Something fairy-tale. So I invite everyone to "mice" and wander around. Well worth it!
