A town on the steep slope of the Bug River Valley, near the tripoint of Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. In Orchówek the railway line Chełm - Włodawa ends, closed for passenger traffic since 2002. The station was called Bug Włodawski until around 1945, currently it is called Włodawa. Behind the station, the track goes all the way to the border Bug River and breaks away from the remains of a railway bridge destroyed by German air force during the bombing in September 1939.
