Tyszowce is a town located on the eastern borders, a region called jokingly because of the accent of the population and close proximity to "Ukraine". Exactly 33 km southeast of Zamosc. Tyszowce is famous mainly thanks to the Tyszowiec Confederation, nearby Grodno Czerwieńskie and above all thanks to traditional, specific TYSZOWIAKOM shoes; and specific because they were not distinguished between right and left leg, because both were sewn equally. They were very durable, durable, warm; King Jagiełło himself placed a huge order for these shoes for the Battle of Grunwald. There is a known legend of how the Swedes trickily sent 12 wax candles - 50 kg each to the inhabitants of Tiszów, filled with gunpowder. However, Poles warned about deception did not light them. Hence the tradition of smelting huge candles. Tyszowce is the only place in the world where huge candles are made - even 6 m and 45 kg. They are proudly worn by parishioners during solemn processions. At the beginning of the 15th century, there was a stronghold here, but today only the unfortunately built-up hill remains. Peace and quiet, friendly people. There is no rush and aggressive civilization. Great (secular) place!
