The prosperity of the city, which was developing dynamically, grew on trade in this commodity. The facades of these buildings give them extraordinary beauty. Above Kazimierz, at Krakowska Street, there is the Kobiałki granary - it houses the Tourist House of PTTK. Next to it was a granary "under God's passion", considered the greatest of all, was ruined and demolished in the 20th century. Next to them there are traces of several other such objects. The largest concentration of historic granaries can be found on the Vistula below Kazimierz in the area of ​​the former Wojszyńska crossing.
