The lake is located in eastern Poland, in the Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District, near the village of Wytyczno in the Urszulin commune, in the Włodawa poviat. The length of the lake shoreline is 9850 m. Currently, the lake is a retention reservoir in the Wieprz-Krzna Canal system. On the north and east side the lake was hardened. It is the largest lake in the Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District.
