In the remains of a former farm park in Hniszów, there is a 600-year-old "Bolko" pedunculate oak in the macroregion - a natural monument. The oak has a height of 23 m, a magnificent, oversized crown and its circumference is 862 cm. Several other trees growing in the park were recognized as nature monuments. The oldest residents say that Bolesław the Brave and his troops rested under this tree during an expedition to Kiev. However, Bolko oak was not baptized with this name in honor of the great ruler, but in honor of the child. Bolesław - that was the name of the son of one of the owners of the local court - Joanna Trzebińska. He died in 1833 at the age of thirteen and a huge oak tree was baptized in his memory.
