Orthodox church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (a common variant of the name: Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary) in Włodawa - an Orthodox parish church. It belongs to the parish of the same name, which in turn is part of the Chełm deanery of the Lublin-Chełm diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The first mention of the Orthodox temple in Włodawa is dated to 1501. Not earlier than in 1772, the Włodawa parish came under the jurisdiction of the Uniate diocese of Chełm. A brick Uniate church in Włodawa was built in the years 1840–1843. After the liquidation of the Chełm diocese in 1875, the Włodawa parish was incorporated into the Chełm-Warsaw eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. From that moment, the church in Włodawa remains in the hands of Orthodox believers.
