Probably the first Orthodox Parish was established in Włodawa around the 14th and 15th centuries with the creation of the Włodawa settlement or settlement. In 1742, the Orthodox parish was taken over by the Uniates. The object was destroyed and rebuilt several times. In 1842, the construction of the church was completed. It was consecrated in 1843.
