Lake Firlej is located in the Lubelskie Voivodship, Lubartów Poviat, the Firlej Commune. The lake area is 91.3 ha. The reservoir is part of the Firlej complex, in addition to which there are Lake Kunów and several reservoirs without names. EU project: Lake Firlej as a recreational and educational center - stage I The main goal of the project is the economic and social development of the Firlej commune through the development of tourism as an important area of the commune's economy. Under the project: - two recreational bridges on Lake Firlej with a length of 108 and 103m, together with a boat mooring platform and a lifeguard platform, - walking and cycling route with LED lighting around Lake Firlej along with access to commune and poviat roads and a parking lot - total length 4 500m, - supply of tourist equipment - pedal boats, kayaks, - supply of safety equipment - life jackets, rescue kits, - monitoring system of tourist facilities, - tourism website at Lake Firlej. What is happening on the beach? By choosing over Firlej we can now see on which beach there are still free places. The Commune Office has launched cameras, thanks to which we can see what is happening at "Goose Beach", at the recreation center "GOSiR" or at "Marta". The service is free, the message is updated every minute: GOSiR Beach, "Goose" Beach, "eFeS" Beach, "Marta" Beach.
