The Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka The palace and park complex in Kozłówka is located 35 kilometers from Lublin. The history of the object is associated with two Polish aristocratic families: Bieliński and Zamoyski. The palace, founded by Michał Bieliński, probably built by Józef Fontana in the late Baroque style, was a modest country residence. In 1799 it became the property of the Zamoyski family, and at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries it was expanded and arranged by Konstanty Zamoyski. Then it became one of the most beautiful aristocratic seats in former Poland. To this day, the interiors of the palace have retained their architectural layout, decor and authentic furnishings from the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Currently, the collections contain mostly the former Zamoyski collection, supplemented with purchases of artistic craftsmanship: furniture, porcelain, silverware, clocks and rugs. The Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka is distinguished by its fidelity in maintaining its old appearance, both historic interiors and surroundings (park, chapel, carriage house). Tourists are also attracted to Kozłówka by the only Gallery of Socialist Realism in Poland. The excellent condition of the palace and park complex has been recognized and honored with the title of Monument of History and numerous awards: Europa Nostra, 7 New Wonders of Poland by National Geographic Traveler Magazine. Access: from Warsaw via Garwolin, Ryki, Żyrzyn, Baranów and Michów (154 km) from Lublin via Lubartów (35 km) from Garbów via Krasienin, Starościn (31 km)
