The castle tower is a valuable monument of Romanesque art and one of the oldest buildings in the Lublin region. Established in the 13th century as a defensive and residential building (donjon). It was part of the castellan stronghold. Built on the southern slope of the hill. It has three floors above ground. Wall thickness up to 3.4 m, inside which a spiral staircase runs. Lower parts of the wall built of broken limestone, higher of brick. During the construction of the prison building (19th century), the tower found itself within its walls. The crowning crown is from this period. Noteworthy is the preserved Romanesque biforcy window on the third floor. An undoubted attraction is the terrace at the top of the tower - the oldest viewpoint in Lublin. You can admire from it both the picturesque panorama of the Old Town and the ever-changing landscape of Lublin.
