In 1957, the Museum moved to part of the rooms of the Lublin Castle, which became its only host in 1974. You can see many permanent thematic exhibitions here: archaeological exhibition, exhibition of coins and medals from the 10th to 20th centuries, folk art of the Lublin region, gallery of Polish painting from the 17th to 20th century (including Jan Matejko's "Lublin Union") , as well as foreign painting from the 17th to the 19th century. The arms exhibition presents militaria in cross-section from the Middle Ages to World War II, while the gallery of decorative art exhibits silverware, ceramics, clocks, furniture and fabrics.
