The Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District Museum was opened to visitors in July 1983. its seat is a historic synagogue complex which is one of the most valuable buildings of this type in Poland. The Łęczyńsko-Włodawski Lakeland Museum has one of the largest on the east side of the Vistula, a collection of Jewish handicrafts and religious objects. The museum also focuses its research and exhibition interests on the subject of local folk culture.
